Upon attempting my first boot to Debian Linux
from a boot floppy on my NEC Ready 330T laptop the boot process would hang when
trying to load PCMCIA modules. Unfortunately I would have to reboot to
obtain the exact error messages. The computer was well into the boot
process when this occurred. The line about the PCMCIA modules was two
lines below a line about updating some database.
I attempted control-c on the process but that
didn't do anything. If I could just get the boot processes past this point
I could likely deal with the PCMCIA problems later.
Thanks in advance for any help.
