I also managed to make the 0.4.1 alsa driver working w/ my ESS Solo-1
(kernel 2.2.11-ac3-nfsv3) but i got a problem: the xmms-alsa output plugin
seems to have some glitches: the volume control doesn't work, and
(much more annoying) every other minute i got an "Error writing to PCM
device". On the other hand Alsaplayer works great but I would like to
see the xmms output plugin working properly (xmms-0.9.1 + plugin
0.4.1). Anybody any suggestions ?

Perfectly agreee. Congratulations and keep up the great work !

Cheers,

Florian

P.S.: Anybody can give me a pointer on how to make mpg123 work w/ ALSA
driver ? I fail to make it to work...
