Hmmm.  I suppose it could be a "warmup" problem, I'm not sure.  The thing
is that it only affects a few horizontal rows (and different ones each
time) not whole screen.  I think it is supposed to be running at 60hz,
also.  However like I said the X server and the console are running at the
same resolution / screen mode (the trick I had to use to get X working
involved using vesafb to initialize the screen mode, then using a modified
mach64 server that I don't think tries to change the video mode).

Oh well, it seems infrequent, so I guess I won't worry too much.
