I used to use two mice on my transport I, but the hd died and I haven't
replaced it yet. It was a ps/2 mouse in the ps/2 port, though. I didn't have
to do anything to the X config.

Normally I ran SuSE 6.0 that was then updated to 6.2. I had debian, Red Hat
and others on it, but don't remember if I ever tried both mice under those
dists.
