hacked?

Did anyone else receive an email from a joanne somebody or other?  I got
one that said it was a e-greeting card.  I thought it was for my
daughter, but as it started to load, I noticed it had the linux-laptop
address in it and something sex related.  I killed it and scanned my
system for viruses.  Did a subscriber's account get hacked or did the
news-list get hacked, or was it just me?
