Perhaps more oriented to linux-laptop (I've cc'd also), does anyone know
the modem used in the Toshiba Tecra 740 CDT. It works fine as a modem
(though is sadly limited to class 1 fax), but I've been scratching
around for a few days trying to figure out how to port spk to it to
enable the telephony use. The next step is the screwdriver, but I'm
betting it will be proprietary.
