Trident Cyber 9388

I have Trident Cyber 9388 (2MB) as my graphics card.
My X works but without accel. I try XFree86 3.3.6,
where accelleration is switched off by default on this
trident then XFree86 4.0, XiG's server but no success.
Could you give me some hints/info how to get this accel
to work? The scrolling is sooooo sllloww. :-(
