Dear all, I have just recently put mandrake 7.0 on a Sony Vaio Laptop. All seems fine, but i cannot seem to get the right sound card services. As a consequence, i can't play any sounds via cd or hd. The sound card in question is a Yamaha DS-XG. Having installed Linux, i really want to make use of all of the audio, indeed, multimedia devices. As for the Video details; i have yet to get to grips with them. Yours etc, Simon Benson
