Fn keys on Sony VAIOs

Hi,

I have got a Sony VAIO PCG-F403 and would like to change the
LCD brightness. This should be done by the key combination
<Fn><F5> but with Linux this doesn't work. All other <Fn>
combination don't work either.

AFAIK this is the same with some other VAIOs. Is there any 
solution to get the <Fn> keys to work? Or another workaround
to change the LCD brightness.
