Hello, I own a IBM ThinkPad 390X (2626MOU) PIII @ 500MHz. This computer was recently in for service at IBM (BIOS update problem) during which they replaced the system board (so basically the computer :-). After receiving the computer back, I 'cat-ed' /proc/cpuinfo and was surprised to find that the cache size was zero, I don't remember what it was before, that is why I am asking if you could do the same and let me know what value you get. Much appreciated Mohrgan: When I "cat /proc/cpuinfo" I get: processor : 0 vendor_id : GenuineIntel cpu family : 6 model : 8 model name : Pentium III (Coppermine) stepping : 1 cpu MHz : 497.446072 cache size : 0 KB fdiv_bug : no hlt_bug : no sep_bug : no f00f_bug : no coma_bug : no fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 2 wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 mmx osfxsr kni bogomips : 496.44
