Actually, one thing I haven't been able to figure out how to do is trigger
the network to start up automatically when I boot up.
Normally, I have to boot up, log in as root (su does not work, nor does
using the allow any user to start connection in RedHat NetCfg), ifup eth0,
and then logout again and login under a user account.
How do I change the startup config to handle that? It normally fails when
coming up because the PCMCIA service shaven't started (it's a laptop). Do I
need to switch the RunLevels of the PCMCIA services and the INET?
Any help appreciated, I know I'm missing something obvious.
Daryl.
