Tiens, apparemment UnitedLinux serait un progr�s v�ritable (extrait de

We are happy to [1]learn that UnitedLinux will apparently be based on
the Debian distribution, since Ex-CEO of Caldera, Ransom Love, will be
trying to find a way to include members such as Debian, which don't
have the commercial focus of the current UnitedLinux partners -- and to
us this looks like the only logical way.

si oui, deux possibilit�s: un fork �-la-Mandrake (deux types de .deb
incompatibles -- ok, avec /etc/apt/sources.list pas si grave, par contre
cela pourrait amener une confusion si la Debian bis n'a pas de Contrat
Social, de distinction claire libre/non-libre, etc), ou une v�ritable
int�gration. Dans ce dernier cas, effectivement, cela change la donne, car
avec Debian, UnitedLinux ferait probablement 80% des serveurs et 50% des
work-stations GNU/Linux, et 100% des plateformes non ix86.
mais bon, on a d�j� v�cu des retournements de situation, en particulier
avec Caldera, donc inutile d'�tre trop optimiste.
