Merci!

I don't know what you mean by 'NT "chez nous"' -- the NID, Network
Interface Device, is the box or panel that connects your building or
home to the general network. Usually sits in the basement of the building.

Merci beaucoup!
So this seems pretty safe coming from the vendor itself, contrarywise to
the Zyxel and it's available in Switzerland, contrarywise to the
Alcatel. I guess I will start working on the old 486/66.
One more thing: any experiences with DSL and 802.11 playing together with
GNU/Linux? Until now I've seen only the Apple AirPort, which requires
Mac OS to administer, and even it would require a too expensive router.
Thanks in advance
