This was a relatively short cycle, in which upstream put in a bunch of new blobs we had to disable. We had a couple of -rcs, so the final 3.17-gnu release was out not longer after upstream pushed out theirs. However, 3 other stable releases pushed out today got this announcement delayed; 3.16.4-gnu, 3.14.20-gnu, and 3.10.56-gnu are now available too.
'fraid 3.17-gnu still doesn't have blobhush support, the infrastructure we have planned to enable blobs to be loaded without inducing users to install them. The death of a hard disk in my home cluster kept me busy recovering from that failure for most of this release cycle :-( Binary builds will be available over the new few days. Speaking of which, as of last Friday, we have a new Yeeloong up and running, kindly offered by the FSF (thanks!), so mipsel builds for gNewSense/Yeeloong have resumed.
