Hi Jason, Thanks for your response.
Sorry I thought I'd double checked what typed, I hadn't even noticed that In the configs the setting I can see is: CONFIG_ARM_LPAE=y , I didn't even see the (V7) bit that was on the u- boot page. So, for example, under processor settings, 6.12 has CONFIG_ARM_LPAE=y at: https://linux-libre.fsfla.org/pub/linux-libre/freesh/configs/6.12/armhf and won't boot, whereas 5.15 and 6.1 which do boot have # CONFIG_ARM_LPAE is not set https://linux-libre.fsfla.org/pub/linux-libre/freesh/configs/6.1/armhf https://linux-libre.fsfla.org/pub/linux-libre/freesh/configs/5.15/armhf Sorry for any confusion, hope this helps, Thanks Ryan On Sun, 2026-05-24 at 17:13 -0700, Jason Self wrote: > On Sun, 2026-05-24 at 21:09 +0100, Ryan wrote: > > Freesh repo kernels for arm after 6.1 all have the > > CONFIG_ARMV7_LPAE=y > > Where do you see this at?
