You mean like, "Greater Seattle"? http://www.gslug.org/
Or maybe, "Puget Sound"? http://www.psnug.org/
The SLL name is an established, long-running brand, with its own
character, traffic, and subscriber list.
My vote is to change nothing.

Someone just write up a proposal, send it to all the lists and see
what folks think.
Proposal: Create a list, psg@ (Puget Sound Geeks). Send email to all
existing user group lists proposing that if the traffic is light, shut
down existing list and merge traffic into psg. ???? Profit.
Allow me to begin the bike-shedding:
s/psg/psalu/
(Puget Sound Area Linux Users)
..Ch:W..
Or Puget Sound Region Linux Users, lots of possible names that would denote a
larger region than just Seattle.
Although I can't get out and go to meetings, I'd gladdly volunteer my services
as much as possible. The linux community has helped me many times and I'd like
to give something back, possibly some donated hardware to help?
