   I am not aware that SolidEdge is available for Linux.  You might be able to 
get it running under Wine, but I do not recommend it.  Historically, mechanical 
CAD is just about the most abusive thing you can do to your computer.  Today, 
3D parametric CAD packages like SolidEdge, ProE, Inventor and SolidWorks are 
the reason this continues to be true.  You want to run them in their native OS.

   UG/NX either has or had a distribution for 64 bit Linux.  You could look 
into it.

   There is no Free Software 3D CAD for Linux.  These are commercial packages 
that start at around $5K US.  

   VariCAD does 3D, but it is not parametric.  You might look into that.
