I suspect you're both right about it being hardware-related. I remember
reading on the Arch fora somewhere about 2.6.35 having some known issues
(I think), but I can't find it anymore for the life of me.

Probably won't have time to take it apart until this weekend, though.
Memtest results are in, and nothing funky is going on there.

Forgot to mention the first time--frequency of lockups is about once
every 3-4 days, if that tells you anything else.

Thanks for the suggestions--I'll let you know once I get to it.
