For now, I'd like to stay with the current (known working) code. Until Al
Viro's changed can be tested. If they work fine for us, I guess Linus/Andrew
will be willing to merge them.
Does your new m68k processor support touch many files touched by
thread_info.diff or Al Viro's changes?
