I've just updated http://linux-m68k-cvs.ubb.ca/~geert/ (long overdue).
- Current is now 2.6.23-rc3.
o I had to remove sun3-3x-cg3-bw2.diff and sun3-3x-serial.diff,
because upstream has changed too much (e.g. introduction of
drivers/of/). Anyway, they have to be rewritten to ease the
integration of Sun-3 and SPARC.
o If you care about the pending patches (especially the ones in
POSTPONED/), please help taking care of them. If some of them
can be killed, fine for me too ;-)
o These days we have scripts/checkpatch.pl. I fixed most patches,
except for:
. 633-atari_scc.diff
. POSTPONED/143-ioext.diff
. POSTPONED/149-mc68681.diff
. atari-ethernec.diff
- The patches for 2.6.22 are now almost equal to what's in Linux/m68k CVS.
I think the only real remaining difference is the printing of the
ide_release_lock error messages.
- Our defconfigs supplied with the kernel sources are terribly out of date.
I put the ones I'm using for my test builds on
http://linux-m68k-cvs.ubb.ca/~geert/defconfigs/, so you can give
your comments.
If these are OK, I'll send them to Linus.
If they're not, please tell me (preferably in patch form) what I should
change.
