OK, I confirm that the N_NORMAL_MEMORY patch on its own fixes slub for
us.  We can revert the mark slub BROKEN in DISCONTIGMEM && !NUMA patch.

Sure ... either that or accelerate a conversion to something like
SPARSEMEM.
