Are you using a LI-5M03 module?

I also added pull ups to the I2C2 line so that I could communicate with mt9p031.

I use a patched version of yavta and Mplayer to see video
(http://download.open-technology.de/BeagleBoard_xM-MT9P031/)

Then in my PC:
