which kernel?

Hello,

I am having problems getting 2.1.131 to build (I posted about this last
week) and because of that I'm wondering if there is a different kernel
that I should be using or if there is a mips patch somehwere.  

I don't want the sgi specific stuff cause on on a r4300 p style board.
