This is a respin of http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.ports.sh.devel/14448 with no functional changes, since there have been to comments to v1. The only change is, that the patch-series http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.ports.sh.devel/14425 has been dropped for now, on which v1 of this series has been based. So, v1 wouldn't apply to current upstream trees.
