I am not guru but I am using the Dosemu-1.0.2 on Red hat 7.1. I also have
windows 98 partition. Xdosemu and dos both work properly but I faced
problem in formatting a removable disk (a or b) by using format in xdos.
I gave following command at c: prompt in dosemu
format a:
then it says format complete without formatting and write at last
Unable to write BOOT record.
I am unable to figure out the problem. After this it fail to recognise any
floppy in that drive.
I will be thankful for any help.
