I have seen similar problems. You might want to check that you have write access to the directory that Turbo Pascal tries to create a swap file in. So as I have Turbo Pascal here and it works fine for me with Dosemu 1.0.2 could you tell the exact steps you did to install dosemu, which DOS you use (I understand from your description, FreeDOS kernel 2024c), but especially how and where you installed Turbo Pascal and which version? It would also be helpful if you start dosemu with, xdosemu -D+Dd -o log then turbo, then runcobol (all fail), then quit bzip2 log and mail log.bz2 to me (privately only please).
