Hello, I have used dosemu version 1.0.0.0 with kernel 2.2.16 for some time. It worked well.
Now I have another system with kernel 2.2.19 and dosemu version 1.0.1.0. It seems that this setup does not work with DPMI programs. It simply crashes. Now I tried the 1.0.0.0 version which apperently uses the same DPMI code (version 0.9) on the new system, and it seems to work fine *provided* that it is run by root. Ordinary users can run it also with *sudo*. The file itself *is* suid root, but it seems that this is not enough. Can someone explain this? I would appreciate any hints.
