Hi, I try to address an Exabyte tapedrive (SCSI), which works under Linux as /dev/nst0 in DOSEMU. I copied DOSEMU from the binary translated version in my home directory (dosemu-1.0.2-bin.tgz). In the dosemu.conf file I tried all sorts of combinations: for example:
$_aspi = "/dev/nst0:Sequential-Access:1" or "/dev/nst0:Sequential-Access" or "/dev/nst0:WORM" or "0/0/0/0:Sequential-Access" or "sg0:Sequential-Access" In the config.sys I put device=C:\dosemu\aspi.sys The message I get is: No ASPI devices configured. Installation aborted. In some mailing lists I read things about global.conf, which I did not understand. scsicheck does not exist on my computer. But I can perform mt -f /dev/nst0 rewind under Linux. Beside the real SCSI with the Exabyte tapedrive I also have SCSI-Emulation for the CDRom on my computer, might this interfer ? Can anybody help please?
