Wow!  That's a long time ago!  When I worked with CAMAC they called it
the Committee for Arranging Meetings in All Countries...

Most unlikely.  The memory is virtualized under Linux.

I don't know much about DOS emulators in general.  If the interface
software is inaccessible, my approach would be to use a dedicated DOS
box for the CAMAC hardware, then move the data to a Linux box for any
fancy processing.  If the software is accessible, I'd rewrite it for
Linux.  It's a pain.
