I doubt that it's 2.4-specific, then-Since I've seen this page fault
happen even back when I was running 0.98 on 2.2 kernels!

(The version of the kernel in my testcase is 2.4.17, BTW; I've been
following the 2.4 series since 2.4test and this bug has occurred
consistently across all the kernels I've used from ~2.2.14 on up.)

If it IS a kernel bug, it's a very, very old one-And Mr. Sergeev says
that the bug he describes is one "In the LATEST 2.4 kernels." So you can
guess that I'm a little skeptical. (I don't think I've ever seen a
systemwide lockup or crash on this machine occur from use of DOSEMU
alone. With DOSEMU under high loads and near-full physical memory,
sometimes, but...)

I'll probably try Mr. Sergeev's kernel patch, though. (But I don't
like patching my kernel for ANY reason, so it'll be a tough decision to
make just for DOSEMU...|P )
