Hey

Ok here is what I did.

Got the dosemu binaries of the webpage, and installed them in my home dir under /dos
the way it setups up by default (I think) it uses (in my case) ~/dos/dosemu/freedos
as the root dos dir.
so I made a tmp dir, copyied the XCom install files to the tmp dir ran then installer
and let it install in the default dir
ran the setup...doesn't seen to matter about sound on or off doesn't seem to work
anyway.
then under X
run xdosemu from ~/dos/dosemu
the game starts
but there is a problem with the mouse, I'm not sure if the game is running to fast or
too slow, it doesn't seem to capture the mouse events correctly
so what I have to do is click while the mouse is moving over the button, so the game
starts, but is useless to play in this state with the mouse.

I hope this helps and isn't to long winded.
