Can somebody explain this to me?
You'll have to compile 1.1.3 from source. While 1.1.3 is marked as an unstable release it is not unusable at all and might (most probably does) work fine for you (better than 1.0.2 if you need the serial bug fixes). > Also, I am still trying to figure out what permissions root has that I don't > have that is allowing root to work the com ports in dosemu while I still can't. The problem is a bug in dosemu-1.0.2. It refuses to create lock files unless it has root permissions. This has not been fixed in the stable series yet. > I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the dosemu.users file but haven't > explored this much yet. That should not matter with respect to com ports.
