I fear that I have been wasting the time of the people who attempted to help me with my dosemu problem. The problem vanished when I ran dosemu from the Linux Console and not from an xterm window. However, I would still welcome a pointer about where to find /doc/README.txt, as it will almost certainly answer many remaining questions (e.g.configuration tweaks; available routines; contents of and location of the config.sys and autoexec.bat files) Also, any advice on the approved routine for renaming PATHS to files so that they will be called by DOS programs when these are running in dosemu would also be welcome.
