Hi,

I have a problem with Dosemu hanging after 30 minutes
of keyboard inactivity. If a key is pressed after the
30 minutes have expired, CPU usage will go up to 100%
and after 10 minutes the application may start responding
again, and receive the keystrokes that were buffered in
the interim. It occurs in multiple applications,
including the MS-DOS Editor (edit.com). The Editor seems
less likely to come alive again; I have more experience
with Advanced Revelation 1.16 (since that's what the system
has to run), and it will reliably start again after the
10 minutes of waiting. It looks like this problem has
been documented in the past, with other pieces of software,
but still without a solution being found:

I can see the keyboard queue being filled (according
to the logfile) by my keystrokes, so Dosemu is still
alive and processing things at some level...

I've encountered the problem with Dosemu 1.0.2, 1.1.3,
1.1.3.1, and 1.1.3.2; I haven't tested any version older
than those. I'm running MS-DOS 6.22, SuSE Linux 8.0
(2.4.18 SMP kernel). Has anybody else encountered this
problem or come up with a workaround/fix?

Thanks in advance for your insights and help,

-- Roger
