I have tried for hours to get this to work and I'm about to pull all my hair
out. Hopefully someone here can help me out.

I'm trying to create a bootable dosemu hdimage file that is at least 200 MB
in size and boots Caldera Dos 7.03. After doing some heavy duty symlinking I
managed to get the mkdexe script to create a hd image. But when I boot it
up, I get two errors:

ERROR: general protection at 0x7c400: 0
ERROR: SIGSEGV, protected insn...exiting!

and dosemu dies there, returning me to the prompt. This is RedHat Linux 7.3
using the scripts and binaries provided with that distribution. The boot
files came from a bootable diskette that boots into Caldera dos
(Specifically ire's Partition Magic's emergency disk #1).

Any help is greatly appreciated! I'm at wits end here.

Thanks!
Dan
