I have no idea about lredir etc. They are using a "coopthreads" technique to get back into DOS, but they run in monitor space. At least you can work around it by using the DOS compiled lredir etc. I don't know enough about coopthreads to be able to comment on that. It can be a timing problem, or something else. The other P4 problem (fixed in 1.0.2.1 and 1.1.2) was simply a left out case in parsing /proc/cpuinfo.
