Hallo all,
i am running dosemu (1.0.1 and 1.1.4) with different ms-dos Versions (5.0 ,
6.22, FreeDOS) I did the folowing:
1. Installed a Mini-Linux (kernel 2.4.9-31) with dosemu on Partiton hda1
2. running dosemu,
format d:
sys d:
3. running lilo with chain.b to hda2
With some hardisks i have no problem. With other harddisks i get the
message: no System Disk or Disk Error
Do you know a solution - or is ist a bug ?

This HD works fine:
Disk /dev/hda: 240 heads, 63 sectors, 2586 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 15120 * 512 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 * 1 7 52888+ 83 Linux
/dev/hda2 * 8 21 105840 6 FAT16
With this HD i get the failure
Disk /dev/hda: 128 heads, 63 sectors, 523 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 8064 * 512 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 * 1 13 52384+ 83 Linux
/dev/hda2 * 14 39 104832 6 FAT16
