Also I should have mention the obvious:
I have my user name listed in the dosemu.users file and
proc/ioports shows nothing else has access even ehen dosemu is running
there 2000 range is not listed. I need 200-21f.
Thanks
Ed

Hi
I was running DosEmu 1.0.2.0 under SuSE 7.2 and ioport access worked fine.
When I upgraded to SuSE 8.1 it failed to give me I/O access that I need
for an in-circuit emulator and EPROM programer.
I remember having some problems with 7.2 and upgrade from 1.0.? to 1.0.2
and finally added a "_ports" statement in various places and it worked. I
spend _2_DAYS_ with 1.0.2.0 and suse 8.1 and never got ioport access to
work.
The fact that debug inport 200 shows FF means it is not allowing me to
access the ioports.
I grepped my dosemu.conf file from etc for you too. How can i go about
debuggng this? I tried running it under root and
all sorts of conf settings its always the same! Really appreciate your
help!
Thanks
