yes, I know, but this message was only in older DOSEMUs. The message you refer to is no longer in DOSEMU 1.1.5.6.

Now that the pipein pipeout is understood ( by me ) I can tell you the version is 1.1.5.6 because that is what I get when I type echo -e version \\r\\n >> pipein My install is an upgrade though..... maybe a clean install will help some of the issues, but the pipein and out was/is the most important to me. I can clean other things up later.
