Dosemu and XMS

I have installed dosemu 1.2.0 on Redhat Linux 7.3 kernel 2.4.18-3 and trying 
to run a foxpro application the application runs nicely but it uses the 
extended memory i.e. XMS in native dos it uses emm386.exe for this but in 
dosemu the xms memory shows fully free it is not consumed

Can Anyone tell me where is the proble
