I made an rpm, and I used the following statment in the dosemu.spec:
./configure --prefix=%{_prefix} --mandir=%{_mandir}
--with-slangdir=src/plugin/slang
--with-fdtarball=%{_sourcedir}/dosemu-freedos-bin.tgz
make
...
I'm running RedHat FC3 with kernel 2.6.10.1.770_FC3.
