Hi,
In the past (neither with DOSEmu nor with UNIX) I solved this by
creating a lock-file somewhere on the disk and had the application
look for the lockfile before accessing anything.
For example, when file-based, you could create a 'filename.lck' somewehere.
Or, database-based ( :-; ) you could create a 'record#.lck'.
