I'm trying to work out the details of sharing a samba server directory and a dosemu nework drive.

the details:

Server1 is a fileserver using samba for W95 clients using a  compiled dos spreadsheet program which saves its files on Server1. (This has been working  great for a couple years.)

New is a Linux Client with the same spreadsheet running under dosemu just fine.

The problem:
I can lredir to a dos fs partition ok. When I try to redirect the files to be stored on the Server1 Samba location the file name is written but no data, just filename.

kernel on Server & client are both 2.2.2, dosemu .98-5,

Server - /etc/exports        /share    client(rw,no_root_squash) (permissions on the /share are 777 owned by Client user.group

Linux Client - /etc/fstab        Server:/share     /clientshare    nfs umask=000 (I also tried    soft, noauto )
dosemu boots on a win95/dos7 drive

I'm just not sure where to go from here. Thanks.
