hi,
strange that I have had the very same problem with a printer setup using
SAMBA. (Thats a program that lets you use the Unix server as a Win95
workgroups file server).
At least the "shared" printer on the Linux Server would ALWAYS give a
form feed after the job.
I only found a "work around" and not a solution. If someone has a
solution then please post it: I'm listening.
I noticed one day that a similar instaltion using a postscript printer
handled the Queue's correctly (without the Formfeed). What I was
using was a HP - LaserJet. So I installed my HP-Laserjet "as if it"
were a postscript printer (without the printing filter) and then only
used the "RAW printer" to printer to.
This worked for me. Note that I only using this printer for workstations
on the Win95 side.

Maybe someone knows more about this....

my regards,
Stefan Becker
