I have a laptop with a Chip & Techn. 655xx chipset. I can use dosemu
without problems if I set $_graphics to 0. However if I enable graphics the
screen doesn't show garbage, but it's messed up: the font is bigger (maybe
the resulution is simply lower), between the upper and bottom half is
roughly one line missing. If a graphical application (an old DOS game) is
started on the left side is addionally a black area. So I assume the initial
graphicsmode is set in some way wrong.
I don't known anything about VGA-modes so I can't interpret the debug
output. The problem doesn't occur if dosemu start without booting (-N). And
its the same for "","plainvga" and "trident" as chipset.
I assume my chipset is not supported. If so is there any development under
the way?
