Hi. I am using dosemu-0.99.11 and while running it and after exiting
the program I was in I got the message "unable to handle paging
request ..." and ever after that I couldn't login to any virtual
console, I couldn't even get back the virtual terminal dosemu was
using, and I couldn't do too much else -- even shutdown didn't work.
I am using 2.2.7 kernel on a 200mhz machine with 3 IDE disk drives.
What I am wondering is how an app could cause such things -- I thought
this was one of the benefits of Linux that an app could go south and
not destroy the system.
I can provide further details, put the oops through system.map, etc,
if necessary.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
