Hello,
I still can't make dosemu run. I recently upgraded to RedHat 6.0 which
includes dosemu 0.99.10 in the hope that it would help but it did not.
After I type xdos in an xterm I get these messages:
kernel CPU speed is 334098222 Hz
Running on CPU=586, FPU=1
then it pops up a window that dies immediately and I get
ERROR: X: Unable to open font "vga"ERROR: , trying "vga"...
ERROR: X: Unable to open font "vga"ERROR: , trying "9x15"...
I checked that I do have /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/vga.pcf as well as
9x15 in the same place.
As I said in my previous message, running on the console gives a different
error:
VT_ACTIVATE: Operation not permitted.
Seems like some access privileges to graphic are not set but this happens
even for root. Can anybody give me a clue?
