Given that one of the stated aims of the ALSA project is compatability
with the OSS interface, the current code should work with ALSA.
There was some code for midid which was written to support the ULTRA
driver (the precursor to the ALSA project ?) and this may or may not work
with ALSA.
Should anyone want to write an ALSA driver then feel free - all I ask is
that you tell me first (so I can ensure we don't get duplication of
effort) and send patches directly to me.
