It's DOS-C "FreeDOS" that is limited here.
The support for CD's wasn't available when we released version 1.0.
So you need a new version of DOS.
Either FreeDOS or one you already have.
<FYI>
FreeDOS has been doing a tremendous job of stabalize and
becoming useful lately however it is still seems to be the buggiest
DOS out there.
