I'm not sure about your error message, but dosemu isn't hanging.  It
"replaces" your tty with the COM device(s?) from what I can tell.  So, in
order to use it, you have to have an autoexec.bat that run's a door, with
the proper settings, and then the door will write to the com port.  When
the door writes to the com port, it will then appear on your screen, if
I'm understanding the virtual flag properly.  So it's no longer doing
stdin/stdout - it's doing it via the COM port(s?).
